Re: Djokovic is
This serial number thing COULD have a simple explanation.

A box of forms opened out of order.

And, if the two tests were taken the opposite way around, wouldn't that clear Djokovic of breaking Serbian law by socialising after a positive test? Unless, of course, he socialised after both.

You can say what you like about Australian tennis prowess, but you have to admire their return of serb.

Interesting! Didn't hear a peep about it at the time, apart from obviously anecdotally people calling bullshit about the convenient timing of his positive test result.

Who'd have thought it? On an internet forum of all places!

Re: Djokovic is
If he is proved to have used falsified medical information to gain entry to a tournament (which shouldnt have granted him an exemption ANYWAY) he should be facing a ban from future grand slams.
3 year ban would sound about right.

A few people look very very silly defending him now.

Yes that was discussed on this thread at the time. A German newspaper found loads of digital inconsistencies with his two test results. Don't know why UK media are only covering it now

It's emerging that there's some dodginess about the serial number of his supposed positive test which he used to try and get his exemption with...

Freedom of information request sees the medias reporting of 150,000 covid deaths being disingenuous.

That’s 150,000 dying whilst with covid

But on 14,000 dying from covid

Any number is tragic but that’s over a couple of years and equal to flu deaths.

I also learnt that the appetite to vaccinate kids is so that pharma companies have no liability after the emergency measures have been lifted.

These are still experimental drugs and under the emergency measures the pharma companies have been granted immunity for future prosecutions.

If governments agree children can be vaccinated then it moves to approved rather than emergency and the liability again is removed.

Leave the kids alone. It’s weird

It came from a very good idea that the NHS were first to do (I think), they worked out that some of the people in hospital could have been managed at home with little increased risk, so they called them 'virtual covid wards' where you are treated as an admission, given a pulse oximeter and an app to upload 3 readings per day or just phone the results in. If you don't report, they are supposed to call you and if you don't respond, send a paramedic.

Whether they should have been lumped in with hospital admissions or not, dunno. But its actually a good news story and shows some rare smart judgment from the NHS - necessity is the mother of invention etc
